National Curriculum Framework envisages that each classroom
promotes Child Centered learning in our alma maters. Children enjoy playing and
what better way to help them learn than to initiate learning through play way
methods. The classes of today are abuzz with activities such as dramatizations,
role-plays, quizzes, nature walks and library references. Puppetry and masks
which always attract the attention of students develop the language skills in
children with great aplomb. A well
planned class with the use of appropriate Teaching-Learning Materials and
support materials in the form of activity sheets, models, lab equipments,
videos, presentations, audio recordings not only remove the monotony of chalk
and talk method they also provide scope for joyful learning for the tiny tots
of the Primary.
