Developing positive personality traits in our students has been
the driving force to implement innovative ideas in pedagogical practices in
Kendriya Vidyalayas. Introducing Club Activities in the Primary Classes has
been a positive step in this direction. The clubs in the Primary range from
developing the skills of fine arts such as sculpting, collage work, drawing and
painting. The performing art discipline includes dance and dramatics whereas
the literary activities encompass poetry and quizzing. The nature-club
enthusiasts get to be closer to Mother Nature, understand our environment and
the need to protect it. The students get to meet experts in these fields,
obtain extra information and enrich their experiences. The values of
camaraderie and appreciation are naturally imbibed in the students and they
also develop leadership qualities .
